The
purpose of present larvae-lexicon is to show visitors
to this site the wide range of the world of sea larvae.
There are many subtle differences which are not noticeable
at first glance, because the species may be very similar
in appearance. Who has not made the experience of discovering
little larvae in the tank and then asked:
"
what have I got there?"
This
website is intended as a tool to help identify larvae
properly, therefore we are always pleased to receive
any pictures. Since we don't know all of the larvae
that exist, we certainly have to rely on the assistance
from you. Please send us either pictures from larvae
which you positively identify, or others which you want
us to ID for you. It is our wish that this site will
constantly grow over time to aid breeders and hobby
aquarists alike.
We would appreciate if you signed in our Guestbook.
